Victoria Beckham has finally made it on Mr Blackwell’s list of Worst Dressed Women, which is released every year. Blackwell poured scorn on Mrs Beckham’s style, which she prides herself on saying: “In one skinny-mini monstrosityafter another, pouty Posh can really wreck ‘em.” Another star that made the list is singer Amy Winehouse (who you can predict her death for a chance to win an Ipod touch)The 24 year-old with her extra-high beehive and Cleopatra-style eyeliner, hasn’t been spared by Blackwell’s scorn. He describes the singer as “exploding beehives above, tacky polka-dots below. She’s part ’50s car-hop horror.” Actress Mary-Kate Olsen and singers Fergie and Kelly Clarkson also made the 2007 list. Mary-Kate came third. Blackwell says she “resembles a tattered toothpick trapped in a hurricane.” Fergie came fourth and Clarkson came fifth. Blackwell says the American Idol winner has a “heavenly voice” that “soars above the rest, but those belly baring bombs are hellish at best.” The fashion critic also didn’t have kind words for singer Avril Lavigne. He says her “fashions [are] provided by the house of Dracula.” Jessica Simpson he decried as a “global fashion curse” and actress Lindsay Lohan, he says has taken “fashion to a new low.”One celebrity who did not make the list is singer Britney Spears. The 26 year-old singer had topped the list for the past two years but Blackwell had some mercy on the mum-of-two saying: “For those of you who were expecting to see Britney’s name adorn the 2007 list, I felt that it was inappropriate at this time to make comment, when her personal life is in such upheaval. “I hope 2008 is a better year for her.” Celebrities who got it right in 2007 include actress Reese Witherspoon, Beyonc?, Katie Holmes and Nicole Kidman. Prince William’s girlfriend Kate Middleton, actress Helen Mirren and socialite Jemima Khan have also made the list.
