The Little Marc Box
Marc Jacobs based his newest creation, the Little Marc Box, on the concept of a McDonald’s Happy Meal. After the success of his line of clothing for children, Little Marc, Marc Jacobs designed a sweet baby kit comprising pyjamas (available in pink or claret) and a Bearbrick Medicom Toy (available in turquoise or bronze), both of which bear the slogan “Marc Who?” This limited-edition set (only 1,000 made) will go on sale exclusively at Paris-based boutique Colette for approximately $160 each starting August 27th. If you aren’t on a budget for your next baby shower you know where to find the perfect gift for a future fashion victim.
For the grown-ups, Colette will also be releasing the Louis Vuitton & Marc Jacobs documentary DVD, directed by Loïc Prigent. Exclusive to the Parisian retailer and available in their e-shop starting August 22 (official release date is September 5th), the documentary reveals Louis Vuitton’s backstage as well as its artistic director Marc Jacobs. The DVD also includes a Marc Jacobs press conference in Tokyo, footage of the large model Bracque bag, and a visit to the Louis Vuitton factory. A great buy for all of us that enjoy a behind-the-scene view of the fashion industry.
