Paris Fashion Week: Karl Lagerfeld
German fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld transformed the runway for its Spring 2008 collection into a rainbow. However black and white dominated the Karl Lagerfeld collection with few coloring details in some parts and prints. Inspired by the 1980s club scene, he presented a collection focused on dresses, in various lengths and models, as well as tailored jackets. Models wore big pieces of accessories, such as triangle shaped earrings, spiked headbands and colorful sunglasses. The designer recently announced his venturing into the eyewear business with a collection coming up this Spring.
