Milan Fashion Week: Missoni
Missoni, known for geometric print knits, diversified today for its Spring 2008 collection with an mix of shapes and colors. Models walked the catwalk to James Brown’s “It’s a man’s world” displaying the very feminine collection dominated by flowers and splashes of patterns. FWD reports that the collection was inspired by “a mirage, weaving tales, revelation, a kaleidoscope of emotions igniting a never-ending EXPLOSION where shapes and colors are shattered”.The energetic collection included jackets with ruffled sleeves, polka dot miniskirts, yellow and green embroideries, hourglass motifs on dresses, mirrored skirts and ankle-length loose dresses.
