Word on the street is that M.A.C will be launching a limited edition with Hello Kitty in 2009. A representative from MAC has neither confirmed nor denied the deal; it could be possible that they are planning to surprise their die-hard fans.

The collaboration could mean big profits for both companies. Millions of people can’t help but love the cute Japanese characters and M.A.C is a work of art type of makeup.

M.A.C. has previously launched limited edition lines such as Barbie and Fafi – so cartoon limited edition would just be another addition to their list of hot collections. If M.A.C. does present a Hello Kitty collection, we’re guessing it will consist of various shades of pinks!
