Kelly Osbourne to write Autobiography
Like mother, like daughter. Kelly Osbourne, daughter of rocker Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon Osbourne, is set to follow in her mother’s footsteps and pen her memoirs. (Her mother’s book, Extreme, has sold more than 2 million copies.)
The 23-year-old is said to have sealed the deal with Virgin Books. Virgin editorial director, Louisa Joyner, who signed up a first book from Osbourne reportedly said: “She will draw upon her own extraordinary experiences to help other young women as they negotiate the minefield that is growing up”.
The autobiography will be based on Osbourne’s experiences of growing up, spanning from before she was famous to her sudden exposure to the media spotlight after appearing on the hit reality show “The Osbournes”.
The memoirs are also said to reveal such secrets in her life, including her two trips to rehab for addiction to painkillers and her feud with singer Christina Aguilera.
Osbourne’s untitled autobiography is expected to be released next year.
