GAP Denim Revolution
No one has ever said that change is bad, and apparently it has inspired GAP to destroy our favorite GAP jeans as we know them. Oh! Don’t worry! They’ll be coming back in a design that will “change your life forever”, or so says the executive vice-president of Gap design, Patrick Robinson. The idea behind this is to practically reconstruct the jean brand in the stitches, style and fabric and morph it in to what is proudly boasted upon as “1969 Premium Jeans”, the ultimate denim collection and a must for today’s busy, casual, easy going public. Despite the sudden inspiration to change a denim brand that has been popular for decades, Robinson had simply flicked that aside and stated “”Gap was giving you jeans for only one part of your life — the casual. Denim has changed. I now need jeans for casual, brunch with friends, going to a bar, going on a date and going to work, and so do you.” Now, how can we argue with that? Overall, no GAP denim is safe. All men’s, women’s and children’s styles are being altered to GAP’s plans for better, stronger and can-wear-anywhere-your-little-heart-chooses denims and are set hit U.S stores next Thursday, price range being $54-$57. The change should be more significant in men’s and women’s denims, where for men, slimmer, more durable and flexable will be the concentration points and for us girls? Well, guess what ladies, the jeans are apperantly going be so hot, our butt will look glorious!
