Ladies, get in line! Burberry has launched an online waiting list for the ‘IT’ bag this fall, the Burberry Metal Spike Clutch.

This exquisite bag first appeared on the Burberry Prorsum’s autumn/winter 2008-2009 catwalk with front row viewers pleasantly accepting it.

The leather clutch is bejeweled with degrade copper, dark nickel and gold metal spikes. It may look scary to hold at first, but the placements of the spikes are thoughtfully placed. They hang like oblong beads, so as not to obstruct the proud owner.

So start saving and sign up now. Chances are by the time you get it you will have saved up enough, and it will hopefully still be the fall/winter season of 2008! The website goes by a first come first serve basis and customers are hoping they have priority access to the much-awaited bag before it goes on sale both online and in stores.

Rumours are abounding that the Burberry stores are also keeping waiting lists, and a few people are already signed up.
