Tyra Banks Earns ‘Top Earner’ Spot
Tyra Banks is the top-earning woman on TV.
According to Forbes.com, the former supermodel, raked in $23 million between June 2007 and June 2008.
Banks hosts two hit television shows: ‘The Tyra Banks Show’, where she is the creator, and ‘America’s Next Top Model’, where she is a producer and judge.
And she may have one more to add to her list! Last year, the 34-year-old signed a deal with Warner Bros., which will involve her launching ‘Stylista’ – a new reality show set around a magazine.
Banks is also in the works on developing a straight-to-DVD series based on ‘Clique’, a popular series of best-selling books for teenagers.
Another supermodel finished in second place, according to the Forbes.com list.
Heidi Klum, who hosts the hit fashion shows ‘Project Runway’ and ‘Germany’s Next Top Model’, made $14 million. Klum also has her own jewelry, jeans and skincare lines.
