Can we really say that we’re surprised? Yeah a lot of us can, but some…? No. As amazing as Kate Moss is, having ruled the runway and fashion industry for so long and being one of the most beautiful, highly-profiled models and celebrities today, she’s had an ungodly amount of wardrobe malfunctions and fashion mishaps that don’t leave a lot of questions of ‘why’ when concerning her absence from the Best Dressed, one of the examples being her vacation in Formentera, where she gave the paparazzi a nice camera view of more then just her sunbathing (lets keep this PG-rated and not include pictures).

But it might not be just that. In the recent years, Moss’s personal life, most of all her relationship with the lead singer of British band, Babyshambles, Pete Doherty and allegations of a cocaine habit, has been all over the news, front page of major tabloids and the lips of almost everyone from North America to Europe (because some of us actually care about global warming, modern wars, starvation, diseases, etc, etc.). Without much question, her life has been one huge roller-coaster ride. As for Grazia Best Dressed, having been beaten out and away from the number 1 spot by her model rival, Agyness Deyn for two year in a row, mixed with the long track record of several professional and personal mess-ups, it was bound to happen. 

However, we can’t count her out for too long. Kate Moss is a world renowned model with a legendary presence in the fashion industry coupled off with an in-your-face attitude that has captivated us for years. There is no question that she will be back on top of the list in due time. Frankly speaking, fashion icons like her never stay away for too long.

The rest of the list wasn’t that shocking. Reigning at Number 1, of course, was Agyness Geyn.
