Sir Sean Connery, the original James Bond, is gracing the latest ads for Louis Vuitton. The actor is being featured in their “core values” campaign.

The photographs were taken on a beach in the Bahamas, near his home. In the ads (one shown above) Connery is photographed on a wooden dock next to a waterproof version of Vuitton’s ‘Keepall’ bag.

The campaign comes to life with ideal timing; alongside the latest release of the newest James Bond flick, Quantum of Solace. This latest Bond film stars Daniel Craig and will be out next month.

Other celebrities who have graced the French luxury giant’s ads for this series include Keith Richards, Francis Ford Coppola and his daughter, Sofia. The ‘Core Values’ series ad campaign has sparked great results (on the products that are featured) since launching last year with Mikhail Gorbachev.

The ads will appear in a range of daily newspapers and weekly magazines, which are slated to run for approximately one-year.
