Collaborations between designers and designers, to designers and celebrities, to designers and directors (?) is becoming more and more popular.
Director and style icon, Sofia Coppola is reportedly signed on to design a new capsule collection for Louis Vuitton. Coppola, who is shown in the newest Vuitton ad’s with renowned father, Francis Ford Coppola, will apparently be responsible for creating a range of handbags and shoes for the brand. Although nothing has been confirmed, the new collection will probably only be available in Japan at first, like Vuitton’s existing collaboration with Comme des Garçons designer Rei Kawakubo.
