Rumours are swirling that actress Kate Winslet is going to play Vivienne Westwood in a biopic about the legendary fashion designer’s life.

It is also rumoured that guests sitting in the front row at Westwood’s ‘Gold Label’ fashion show in Paris were informed of the news by the designer’s managing director. The film will reportedly follow Westwood from the 70’s to present day.

Universal is also among these rumours as being the ones to produce the film.

And did I mention these are rumours? Good!….. didn’t want you to get the wrong idea!

In the meantime you can catch Winslet, alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, in the 1950’s film “Revolutionary Road”, due out in theatres December 26th.
