Arlenis Sosa for Lancome

Just before the kick-off to fashion week, Lancome made the announcement of their newest spokesmodel, Arlenis Sosa. The 19-year-old Dominican beauty will begin appearing in the ads next year.

Sosa reportedly commented on her newly appointed position:  “I feel so honored and lucky. Lancome is an amazing brand so this is a dream come true.”

You may recognize her from her featured appearance in Italian Vogue’s “Black Issue” earlier this summer. Sosa will be strutting down many catwalks as she makes her debut at fashion week. She will be in more than a dozen shows from Oscar de la Renta, Donna Karan, Carolina Herrera, Proenza Schouler, Zac Posen, Narciso Rodriguez and Tommy Hilfiger.
