Jil Sander AG to be sold to Japanese Group
Jil Sander AG is a maker of ready-to-wear men and women will be sold to a Japanese apparel group. Jil Sander is actually a German fashion designer who started Jil Sander AG in 1978. She had tremendous success overseas and has flagship stores in Hong Kong, Tokyo, Taipei, Paris, etc.
It reached a deal to sell Jil Sander to Tokyo-based Onward Holdings Co. Ltd and its European subsidiary GIBO Co. SpA for US$244.2 million
