Alice McCall for TopShop
Just when you think you have all of the collaborations figured out for 2008, someone else comes out of the woodworks and blows away your expectations. That certain individual is the Australian born designer Alice McCall, who is famous for her use of eccentric prints, high-waisted skirts and witty cuts. She is also unanimously hailed for her reinterpretation of the black dress, and Vogue UK said, “If we gave out cups at the end of Fashion Week, Alice McCall would have a hat trick: best newcomer, prettiest collection and easily the most popular girl in the class.”
Her new line, that comes out September 25 exclusively at TopShop, nods at computer technology and infuses 80’s rock glam with sophisticated 1950 style lines. Check out her collection below and hit www.topshop.com for a great interview with McCall.
