Supermodel Kate Moss and Italian-born photographer Mario Sorrenti landed the cover of the French fashion magazine, Purple for its Fall/Winter 2008 issue. Kate is wearing a very extravagant and sexy black Balmain, single-shouldered dress. Her ex-boyfriend Mario Sorrenti, who is now a famous photographer, is kneeling down naked at her feet and holding on to her passionately. I love the way Mario is grabbing Kate! Many people describe this photo shoot as “orgasmic.” I totally agree and I boldly note that this is one of my favourite covers ever. There is something so “grabbing” about the photo, besides Mario’s grabbing. Many viewers complain on the internet forums about the writing on Kate’s face but in my opinion, the photo is not about the face. It is about the passion, power and dominance that each of us encounters in our life. Hot!
