Nanette Lepore Designs Exclusive Dress for Gilda Club Worldwide
Maybe the fashion world is superficial and materialistic most of the time, but that doesn’t change the fact that it and its designers can do a while lot of good too. The potential for its charitable attributes is demonstrated by Nanette Lepore, famous designer known for her colorful and trendy bohemian looks, when she takes her ’Unfaithful Shift’, a favorite among her fans, and alters it into a vibrant red color, exclusivley made for Gilda Club Worldwide, an organization dedicated to helping cancer patients.
The short dress is in satin/linen, with a plated neckline and empire-waist, held together with a discreet detail of an elegantly folded bow. It will be available on this upcoming Tuesday, August 19th, in Lepore’s boutique, located in New York on 428 Broome Street. The dress will stay available throughout September, its starting price being at $310 and it’s proceedings will go to The Living Room, an online cancer support and networking initiative.
