Just recently, on August 7^th,2008, renowned fashion designer John Galliano announced the return to and future launch of his new eyewear collection after a signed contract with Italy’s Maurizio Marcolin, who has already been involved in producing eyewear for Tom Ford and Roberto Cavalli.  The contract will come into play next fall in September 2009 when the first line takes shape and launches. The collaboration will continue for five years.

“Sunglasses and eyewear are essential accessories to make a statement on and off the runway and I am really excited to give them a Galliano twist,” the designer commented. “I can’t wait to begin a new vision on vision.”

Galliano has a long standing reputation for his unlimited creativity and innovative thinking, so there is no doubt that this will definitely be the eye candy of next fall!
