Milla Jovovich Quits Her Label
The ultra-talented model/actress, Milla Jovovich, is leaving her Jovovich-Hawk clothing lable, despite its great success. According to her, “It’s like, when one door closes … I’m in a time of rediscovery, from my career to my personal style. I was looking through my pre-pregnancy clothes and found so much I had forgotten about.” Milla co-founded the clothing line with fellow model Carmen Hawk in 2003. It is not known yet if Carmen Hawk will be continuing to design, rename the line or leave it as well. The Jovovich-Hawk lable was praised by Vogue for its “girl-about-town cult status most designers spend years to achieve,” and also, had big success from its partnerships with Mango and Target. In 2007, Jovovich and Hawk even designed the costume for Milla’s character, Alice, in Resident Evil: Extinction. Jovovich is a new mother and has a demanding career as well, may be it was too much? Whatever the reason, now is the time to stock up on the cute clothes as there may not be any other!
