Gwyneth Paltrow Guest of Honour at Tod bash at Milan Fashion Week
Most people promote the opening of their new movie by holding press conferences, they fly across the country multiple times a week to meet fans and journalists or they hit premieres in New York and Los Angeles in hopes of generating buzz. Gwyneth Paltrow is not everybody. The glamour girl of Hollywood is promoting her new movie ‘The Pashmy’ by being the guest of honour at a Tod’s bash during Milan Fashion Week.
The movie is a 5-minute short film directed by Dennis Hopper. In the film Gwyneth, who plays herself, agrees to meet a handsome journalist for a cup of coffee in Milan but gets spooked by the paparazzi. She ends up leaving her Tod’s handbag in the café and it is now up to the dashing journalist to somehow find a way to get the bag back to her. Hopper said of the movie, “There is a whole Fellini-like ending to the story that is really beautiful.”
The movie and the Gwyneth’s exclusive campaign with Tod’s will be available in September.
