Who wears short shorts? Anyone who is anyone is NOT wearing short shorts.

Less is NOT more in this instance. Thank goodness the ‘booty’ shorts are a thing of the past, if only we could convince the seldom few who are holding on to them, or rather, they (shorts) are TIGHTLY holding onto them.

Shorts, this summer, are seeing new lengths, and parts of the thigh and even knee that most had forgotten existed. A more sophisticated approach to summer attire is hitting the streets in addition to the office. Being the hottest time of year for most Western places, shorts are making their way into our wardrobes, but in order to pull off the classy look this summer the old rule of thumb, or should I say finger applies. The shorts, at their very shortest meet mid thigh, where your fingertips end if place at your side. Reminiscent of catholic school anyone? Why did it seem like all catholic girls had short arms?

Shorts are also moving into the work environment with the ‘city short’ or the bermuda short. Floral prints, bold colors and a pleat in the front are making these formerly categorized in the play clothes department are now spruced up.

Time to throw out your daisy dukes! No need to shave above the knee, its a new day, and I never want to look back!
