Cardigans are probably one of the most versatile pieces to incorporate into an outfit no matter the season. It’s been a popular item for a while and its presence is still going strong this season as a lightweight cover-up for those breezy summer days.  Long cardigans give the wardrobe classic a more modern feel. Don’t think of the matching sweater sets from your mom or grandma’s time. Long cardigans are best as an accent piece.  Wear them in neutral colors to tone down brights and patterns. Or wear a patterned one to add pop to a neutral outfit.  They’re also great transitional pieces for fall that can be layered easily. One of the best things I love about cardigans is that they can be dressed up or down. Also, they come in a variety of colors, styles and prices points.
