Trend Watch: The Ankle Purse

Remember the Chanel Ankle Purses which were all over the Paris Chanel Show for Spring 2008? Well, almost a year later, Bebe has introduced their own version, the Bebe Maya Three Strap Sandals, for the price of $119. Although many thought that the Ankle Purse idea may vanish as quickly as it came, this trend seems to be just beginning, as stores such as Bebe are catching on the fever.

The Ankle Purses are a great accessory for your shoes. They are clever, cute and original. They would definitely look amazing with a short dress, skirt or even over linen and other light-weight pants. And now at a much more affordable price! And remember - the Ankle purse is not arguing that it is a perfect substitute for your everyday purse. Fashion is about imagination and boldness! Will this become the next must have absolute accessory? You decide! But love it or hate it, it is beginning to spread, so watch out!
