Supermodel Cindy Crawford Launches Furniture Collection
Cindy Crawford, 42, told press that day how her Cindy Crawford Home Collection was originally a partnership with American retailer Rooms to Go.
She explained that the head of the retailer had seen her Malibu home in a design magazine and said she had potential to create her own furniture. Crawford however wasn’t too sure.
“I like decorating my own home but I’m not sure people want that from me or are looking from that for me,” she said was her first reaction, but the retailer had obviously done his research.
The collection includes leather pieces and a Malibu collection inspired form her bedroom. Other pieces around her house also led to many of her design choices.
“Everyone comes to my house and we have lunch and we talk about ideas and that way I can reference things in my own life,” she said.
Crawford’s collection will be exclusively sold online at www.cindycrawfordhome.com and at The Brick store in Scarborough, Canada.
