Maggie Gyllenhaal designs Trickle Up necklace for charity
Actress Maggie Gyllenhaal, the stunning brunette who sparkled on screen in the must see The Dark Knight, has recently teamed up with Trickle Up and New York designer TenThousandThings to create a beautiful necklace to help fight poverty.
“Trickle Up will use your donation to help someone living on less than one dollar a day start a microenterprise and take the first steps out of poverty,” Maggie writes in her letter on the company’s webpage.
The necklace is part of Trickle Up’s “Seed A Dream” campaign, which aims to bring people out of poverty by encouraging them to use local resources to start their own company. When you make a donation of $100 in honour of a friend or family Trickle Up will send you the charming silver pendant necklace. The $100 donation helps families receive better medical care, more nutritious food and aids them in starting their own business.
Accompanying the campaign is a beautifully crafted 75-second video where Maggie describes the benefits of supporting such an amazing cause. Check it out on the companies webpage or follow the link below.

I adore Maggie, however,I think you ought to put a little more “umph”into it. Remember, it is for charity
