The newest category in the Emmys this year is Top Reality Show Host - and the nominees this year are going to be overseeing the ceremony. Among them include Heidi Klum of Project Runway, Ryan Seacrest of American Idol, Tom Bergeron of Dancing with the Stars, Howie Mandel of Deal or No Deal and Jeff Probst of Survivor. The Emmys will air on September 21st 2008 on ABC from the Nokia Theatre.

“This gives us the opportunity to be very contemporary and current on a show where we also will celebrate the history of the TV Academy and the history of television,” executive producer Ken Ehrlich told the Hollywood Reporter. “It’s the best of both worlds.”
