Italian Brand Super’s release of the limited edition 24K gold wayfarer gives new meaning to the phrase ‘go BIG or go HOME’ when attempting to follow the latest trends.

Since the ‘83 release of “Risky Business” the timeless look of the wayfarer has only grown in popularity. It’s the MUST HAVE look of the summer for all those bohemian, trendy, hipster folk. All the ‘it’ people have been caught sporting this classic look from Natalie Portman to Kiera Knightly to Jude Law.

The latest addition to the wayfarer collection may only be within reach of the aforementioned few with a price tag of $181, 165; just a small price to pay for fashion. With hand made frames in both black and white and the 24K mirrored gold lenses by Zeiss, who wouldn’t take out a bank loan to be among the few to claim to own the Midas Touch of sunglasses this summer.

For now I think I will stick to my Ray Ban’s or even the Dollar Store version I have been sporting this season. Unless an unforeseen amount of cash lands in my lap accompanied with a picture of these works of art captioned “BUY ME NOW OR ELSE!”
