To honour his 90^th birthday, Nelson Mandela is teaming up with Montblanc to create a stylish bangle engraved with his prison number during his 27 years in jail.

“Montblanc is honoured to be part of such a significant and life-changing initiative. The plight against HIV and AIDS is an incredibly worthy cause and Montblanc are exceptionally proud to be able to support and contribute to the success of this project,” said Lutz Bethge, the CEO of Montblanc International to vogue.co.uk.

All proceeds will go to the Mandela Foundation, which has been helping those who suffer from the AIDS epidemic throughout Africa, for several years.

The bangles, which will be available in silver, gold and platinum, can be found at jewellery stores Sterns and American Swiss and of course all major Montblanc boutiques.
