Madeline Kragh. Cato Van Ee. Austria Alcantara. These are names that you should memorize, log into your blog, write on your fridge, and shout at your friends at the bar because they are going to be on the tips of everyones tongues come August 19^th.

Vogue magazine and media divisions at IMG have produced a new reality series called Model.Live. The show will be a web-based reality series about the fashion industry, featuring the three girls going to castings call, being rejected by clients, being told they are too fat, too thin, too tall, too punk all in the vain of high-ratings and mega bucks.

“We want this to be a real show,” said David Cunningham IMG’s Vice President of Development.

The new reality series is hoping to appeal to younger, Internet-savvy teens familiar with the web and who love fashion. Forget the teens, twenty and thirty-year-olds are going to be into this show without a doubt. Debuting August 19^th on Vogue.tv, Veoh.com and hulu.com consumers will be able to watch the series as well as buy featured ensembles that the three modelteers will be sporting.

Express LCC, a clothing retailer, will be the major contributor to the girl’s wardrobe and IMG offices will be filled to the rim with Express clothing.

THE NEWBIE MINI

Austria Alcantara

Hailing from Dominican Republic, this brown-eyed doll has mocha skin, dark brown hair and can stomp down the runway like any old pro. But will the young buck be able to withstand the temptations of the industry like the copious amounts of drugs, booze and men? Will she struggle more because of her race? Is she too young to handle the pressure? This is girl has intrigue written all over her.

THE REBEL PUNK

Madeline Kragh

Does not look like Agyness Deyn, thank the stars, nobody wants another clone and nobody can really be compared to the incredible Deyn. What Kragh does have is a killer personality, a signature style and an attitude to match. She is apparently kooky, fun and will probably be hilarious to watch. I cannot wait for her snappy comments and freak outs if she doesn’t have the right hair gel handy.

THE LOVELY GRACE

Cato Van Ee

The veteran of the ladies who has already worked with major labels like Prada and Miu Miu. This girl will probably be the mumsy of the group, meaning behaving in a “polished and sophisticated manner” as David Cunningham so aptly said. Her dreamy eyes and flawless skin are going to rocket this girl to stardom though she may not be as entertaining to watch.
