Diane Von Furstenberg to unveil capsule collection inspired by Wonder Woman
With numerous super hero movies a hit on the movie industry, there’s no denying that there would be more of them in the coming future. Wonder Woman is another super hero movie waiting for its success. Right now there’s no solid word on who’s going to star the heroine, but the heat is already around in the fashion industry.
Diane Von Furstenberg has been called in by Warner Bros and DC Comics to create a collaboration, a capsule collection inspired by Wonder Woman. The collection will feature dresses, leather accessories and footwear incorporating vibrant colours and star motif.
“Wonder Woman is the ultimate symbol of female strength, independence and freedom. When Warner Bros. approached me to collaborate, I immediately thought it was a fun idea that would reinforce my belief in women and commitment to their empowerment. The collection will inspire every woman to be the Wonder Woman she wants to be.”
Collection of the sales will be donated to the Vital Voices Global Partnership who helps in empowering female entrepreneurs around the world. The capsule collection will be unveiled in October.
