Along with working on their new collaboration for H&M, head designer for Comme Des Garcon, Rei Kawakubo is keeping busy.

The label is planning on opening a joint store with Louis Vuitton in Tokyo this fall. Featuring limited edition one-off bags, it is symbolized as a way in which to celebrate 30 years since Louis Vuitton opened in Tokyo.

Kawakubo explains that the designs of the bag are “party-like” and will all sport the traditional monogram and will aim to resemble styles of 30 years ago when Louis Vuitton strictly sold leather goods.
