Viktor & Rolf: A Coat In 3D!
Uhh… it’s definitely new, I’ll give them that. No strangers to the outrageous, Viktor & Rolf have launched their most eye-popping piece of outerwear yet. Their Fall 2008 Ready-To-Wear collection saw the 3D coat, a gray trench with the words “NO” or “DREAM” jumping out at you from the material. I’ve heard of making a statement with your clothes, but this a little much!
I could deal with the “NO” coat. I would never wear it because, really now, I’m a positive person, but I would be caught staring for a few seconds before going on my merry way. The “DREAM” version, however, would make it difficult on a crowded subway or walking down a city street, and if nothing else, is just not very neighbourly!
