If Victoria’s Secret and Abercrombie & Fitch can do it, why not Bebe? Inter Parfums has signed a six year contract to supply cosmetics, fragrances, and body products for the brand. The deal hopes to put Bebe on par with its competitors and strengthen its presence in the beauty and cosmetics market - one of the company’s growth strategies highlighted by CEO Jean Madar earlier this year. The line will be available at Bebe shops across the U.S and Canada, and select locations worldwide. If you’re a fan such as myself, you’ll be as anxious as I to see the lip gloss, which will be the first product with the Bebe signature and will be in stores in time for the 2008 holiday period. Even though, at this rate, a lip gloss will be about the only thing at the store I can afford. A signature fragrance will follow, sometime during mid 2009.
