Gianfranco Ferré Stresa Project Dubai
Milan-based design label Gianfranco Ferré has signed a contract with Mideast-based GIO Developments to develop real estate projects around the world. The buildings will have Ferré’s unique touches and style.
“Gianfranco Ferré Stresa,” the $1.2 billion dollar first project of the deal, will be a highrise tower in Dubai.
“We chose the name Stresa because it is a town that was dear to ‘The Architect’ Ferré,” The company’s Chief Executive Michela Piva told reporters. “It is where he had his summer residence and liked to spend his free time.”
The building will be a mixture of commercial and residential spaces, and it has been called the first “concrete couture” building. It is also expected that in the future, the highrise will hold an exhibit featuring Ferré’s vintage designs as well as a home collection.

Hi I would just like to clarify that the project is called Stresa by “Gianfranco Ferre for GIO” It is a new sub brand created by GIO for Gianfranco Ferre.
But the whole thought of it is so cool.
