Christopher Kane wins Scottish Designer of the Year Award
The third annual Scottish Fashion Awards were held at Stirling Castle this past weekend to honor Scotland’s contribution to the fashion world.
Christopher Kane, who showed up with his sister and Vogue.com Editor Dolly Jones, won the Scottish Designer of the Year award for the second year in a row. The other nominees for the award were Jonathan Saunders, Deryck Walker, Aimee McWilliams, Graeme Black and Vidler & Nixon.![]()
Kane was joined by Graeme Armour, who won the Scottish Young Designer of the Year, Emily McWilliams for the Scottish Model of the Year, and the House of Holland for Best International Use of Tartan.
Internationally loved and respected hair stylist Sam McKnight was also inducted into the Scottish Fashion Awards Hall of Fame with video greetings from actress Uma Thurman and model Agyness Deyn.
