Tommy Hilfiger Adapting Book for Bravo Television Special
Tommy Hilfiger has recently signed a deal with Bravo to adapt the book he wrote last year into a one-hour special.
“Iconic America: A Roller-Coaster Ride Through Eye-Popping Panorama of American Pop Culture,” co-authored with George Lois, is a photographic book that documents people and places that are significant to people’s identification of the United States. The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Betty Davis, and Route 66 are just a few of the things you’ll find in the book.
Israeli supermodel Bar Rafaeli, and Rives of “Def Poetry Jam” will host the show, traveling across the U.S. to look at the things that make the U.S. unique. Scheduled tour visits: a girl’s prom preparations and the Barbie Museum.
The show will air in October 2008.
