Colette

Colette is a really cool Parisian fashion and style boutique founded in 1997 by Colette Roussaud and her daughther, Sarah Lerfel. It is known for having the best selection of the most cutting edge designers in fashion.

Latest news on the street is that Colette is is opening a pop-up shop right in time for Fashion Week. But unexpectedly, they are opening it with Gap. The shop, called Colette X Gap, will be at Fifth Avenue and will open September 6 to October 5. The shop itself will have a more Colette feel, featuring candles, room fragrances, art and all that. Colette will also colaborate with various shops such as Oakley and Le Labo. They will also work with a number of artists and designers such as French artist Monsieur Andre, accesories maven Anne-Marie Herckes, etc. A lot of the Gap items such as trench coats, denim jackets, totes will be revamped.
