Preview: Gianfranco Ferré fall winter 2008/09 campaign
Their first fall collection without him, Gianfranco Ferré’s design house lives on in his name. Without of course, Lars Nilsson who has been goen since the Spring show in September. He apparently didn’t get along with the design team who were trained by himself before
he passed away last summer.
The neutral hues of this 2008/2009 autumn-winter collection certainly captured my heart. The collection contained his signature styles
like demonstrative white shirts with sweeping collars, and dresses with architectural flourishes.
But sadly, until the house hires a new creative director (which it’s intends to do) it’s only down hill from here.
