Yves Saint Laurent`s creations auctionned off by Christies
On july 2nd, some of Yves Saint Laurent`s creation will be auctionned off by Christie`s auction house in New York City. The atypical designer Yves Saint Laurent who has branded the fashion industry like no other, died a month ago at the age of 71. Among the seven pieces of this legendary designer that are to be auctionned of, a cocktail dress from 1958 for Dior stands out. The sale also includes creations of other designers such as Christian Lacroix and Thierry Mugler.
