Elie Saab to design luxury hotels in Dubai

Elie Saab, the Lebanese fashion designer known for stunning dresses worn by Hollywood actresses during the awards season has decided to expand his design capabilities to a new front: hotels. He has geared up with Tatweer, a member of Dubai Holding, to design 360,000 sq. ft. hotel in The Tiger Woods Dubai that will include 89 suites, 14 bungalows, 10,000 sq. ft. swimming pool, and a spa. Saab has remarked on the Tatweer website: “”…Every detail of the hotel’s interiors will reflect my signature element that is designed by a fusion of simplicity, luxury and modernism to create a dreamlike ambiance.”
