Tom Ford’s new controversial Ad makes some noise

Once again Tom Ford embraces controversy with his new perfume ad, Tom Ford for men by Tom Ford. We all remember Ford’s Gucci campaign featuring a woman with a G shave into her pubic hair and we easily recall the already provocative September ad for his men fragrance. When it comes to advertising, Tom Ford proves he is willing to show anything. This new ad campaign was shot by the American Photographer Terry Richardson. It features a bottle of perfume in between a woman’s breasts and thighs. Tom Ford decided to direct his campaign towards something more risqué and crude than usual. This time he decided to take a more graphic approach to promote his men’s cologne. This he says was aimed to communicate the bold and provocative mood of the fragrance. Tom Ford is renowned for its controversial ads in the Fashion Industry. However what should one think? Incredible PR coup? Or just plain tacky?
