When the item goes on sale, the site notifies the shopper with an email and a link to the item. It’s FREE to be a member, and it’s as simple as adding the Savvy Circle button to your browser and clicking on one of the 100+ online stores (from Neiman Marcus and Kitson to Target and Zappos). Yes, I say it’s a savvy idea, especially for the tried-and-true bargain hunters out there. Personally, I’m going to use it to track Banana Republic sale items because that store moves through their merchandise quicker than Paris Hilton moves through boyfriends. One minute it’s $148, the next minute it’s $79.99. Hey, I said I was lazy, not dumb.
