L’Uomo Vogue Turns 40!

L’Uomo Vogue, a men’s Italian fashion magazine, turned 40 the other night and the Vogue Italia editor in chief Franca Sozzani spared no expense when it came to rolling out the red carpet for his fabulously rich and famous friends. Set on a humid night in Milan at Palazzo Litta, celebrities flocked from afar to come celebrate a magazine know for revolutionizing fashion and propelling menswear into the limelight. “It’s been 40 years of collaboration,” said Giorgio Armani, who mingled with other designer gods like Ferruccio Ferragama and Roberto Cavalli. “I feel like L’Uomo Vogue is where I started.” Said Yves Saint Laurent creative director Stefano Pilati. Other celebrity’s sightings included Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, Janet Jackson, Eva Herzigova and Anna Wintour, the lady who shaped Vogue into one of the top magazines in the world.
