Coming from the woman who reportedly once mixed violence with sex, and used knives to cut herself, Angelina Jolie explains in July’s Vanity Fair, she found the birth of her first daughter, Shiloh, to be a fascinating, miraculous experience; one that didn’t give her any pain.

“I had a C-Section and I found it fascinating. I didn’t find it a sacrifice and I didn’t find it a painful experience. I found it a fascinating miracle of what a body can do.”

All round, and supple, Jolie is feeling sexier than ever while being pregnant. Not at all unlike a vessel that is carrying her and partner Brad Pitt’s twins, she says it’s a wonderful experience and probably easier to enjoy considering she’s with someone who finds pregnancy to be very sexy.

And even with two on the way, there is still room for more in the Jolie-Pitt clan. While growing up. Jolie admits she always wanted to adopt because she knew there were children who didn’t have parents. She doesn’t feel it’s a humanitarian thing to do, rather something one feels they want to do.

“I look at Shiloh-because, obviously, physically, she is the one that looks like Brad and I when we were little- and say, ‘If these were our brothers and sisters, how much would we have known by the time we were six that it took into our 30s and 40s to figure out?’”
