Sharon Stone dropped from Dior after China earthquake comments

What’s done is done, and maybe it’s just bad karma all around? Recently, Sharon Stone was dumped by Dior for her oppinion she gave during a red carpet interview at the Cannes Film Festival.
When asked about her thoughts on the tragic earthquake in China, Stone mentioned it could be karma coming around to get even after the way Chinese have treated Tibetans.
“I’m not happy about the way that the Chinese are treating the Tibetans because I don’t think anyone should be unkind to anyone else,” she told reporters at Cannes. “And so I have been very concerned about how to think and what to do because I don’t like that. Then all this earthquake and all this stuff happened, and I thought, is that karma? When you’re not nice, that the bad things happen to you?”
With a death toll of 80,000 and still counting in China, Stone should have chosen to bite her toungue. Whether you want to consider it karma getting back at Stone for her remarks, either way, she’s been dumped by Dior.
Also to her shock, she recently received a letter from the Tibetan foundation who mentioned they will do anything they can to help the earthquake victims.
“That made me cry,” she said. “Sometimes you have to learn to put your head down and be of service, even to people who aren’t nice to you. That’s a big lesson for me.”
