Dressed in the City - Sex and the City Fashion Review

The movie opens with an above knee-length white vintage minidress with gold accents and a large flower on the right shoulder. Later we see a beautiful, strapless ivory Viviane Westwood wedding gown accented with a traditional full-length veil trimmed with a giant turquoise feather.
Both outfits in typical Carrie Bradshaw style were just two of Sarah Jessica Parker’s eighty-one outfits for the upcoming Sex and the City Movie. In total, the fab four changed their style three hundred times in the two hour and twenty-two minute movie.
Back for the seventh time around, SJP is joined by cast mates Kim Cattrall (Samantha Jones), Kristin Davis (Charlotte York), and Cynthia Nixon (Miranda Hobbes) along with possibly the most important crewmember, Patricia Fields, stylist for the series and now the big movie.
Fields explained to Oprah on her SATC special that “belts were very, very important in the look of the new movie. I think it’s the new silhouette.” Along with belts, the movie sports dresses of all lengths and styles, large and outrageous accessories, and of course, shoes, shoes, and more shoes!!! At the end of filming the girls had to return all 300 outfits worn throughout the movie, however were treated to all of the shoes!
This weekend’s opening is sure to impress SATC fans and fashionistas everywhere.
