Contrary to Gilmore Girls, Uggs are not “so 2001.” We can all dust off our old Ugg Australia’s at the back of our shoe closet because these boots are back. In addition to their well known boots, Ugg also makes slippers, handbags and dresses.

Ugg Australia has recently announced they’re creating outerwear as well. The capsule collection will feature a selection of jackets and sweatshirts, all with Ugg’s signature stitching. With prices starting at $595 for a suede hooded pullover and going up to $2,300 for a shearling coat, Ugg fashion will not come cheap. Reportedly, there have also been talks for Ugg to further the collaboration, with Nichols designing a collection of handbags for the Ugg 2009 spring or fall collections.

Whether these jackets and coats will be as popular as their boots remain to be seen.
