Hit or Miss: Chanel’s Gun Shoes
What woman hasn’t fantasized about using her stiletto as a lethal weapon? Well, Chanel has taken the notion of “killer heels” to a scary new level of literal. Designed by Laurence Decade for Chanel’s Cruise 2009 collection, these gun shoes debuted at the Chanel resort presentation last week with a bang. (Sorry, couldn’t help myself.) The “Miami Vice” shoes will hit Chanel boutiques worldwide next month. Which begs the question: since when did Karl Lagerfeld go all gangsta on us? Personally, you won’t find me on the street wearing them. In fact, the only thing I want to do is use them for target practice. But what do you think? Are the gun shoes a hit or miss?
