Shakira teams up with Puig to create her own line of costmetics
Shakira has teamed up Puig Cosmetics to create a new line of fragrances and beauty products. The Barcelona-based beauty and fashion giant has signed Grammy-winning singer Shakira to a worldwide agreement to create a signature line of beauty products, including fragrances and other personal care products. “I’m very excited to be able to express myself through another creative medium. My feeling is that personal care and beauty should be effortless and accessible for everyone,” the singer said in a statement. The 31-year-old Colombian-born rocker will help develop the as-yet-unnamed products, from inception to completion, according to Puig. The company also holds Antonio Banderas’ fragrance license, as well as a number of designer fragrance licenses, including Carolina Herrera and Nina Ricci
